Dr. Sergio Azzolino, DC, DACNB, DAAPM

An internationally renowned clinician who has been serving his profession and patients from around the world since 1995. Dr. Azzolino obtained a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in 1995 where he graduated Salutatorian and Summa Cum Laude. In 1997, He was appointed to the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and continues to serve in this capacity.
Dr. Azzolino is a Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology and of the American Board of Childhood Development Disorders. He is appointed as an examining Board Member of the American College of Functional Neurology. He also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Functional Neurology, Rehabilitation, and Ergonomics.
He has completed advanced studies in the diagnosis and treatment of vestibular and movement disorders through the Carrick Institute for Postdoctoral Education. He is currently the director of Azzolino Chiropractic Neurology & Integrative Wellness in San Francisco. Dr. Azzolino is also the executive director of Brain Balance Center of San Francisco – a learning center dedicated to assisting children with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, processing, and various neurobehavioral disorders.
Dr. Azzolino is currently honored to be an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology for the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. From 2008-2010, Dr. Azzolino served as the Northern California Delegate to the American Chiropractic Association. He served as a Qualified Medical Evaluator in the State of California and as an expert witness for disputes in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases.
Dr. Azzolino is a native San Franciscan, graduate of Saint Ignatius College Preparatory, and a San Francisco State University Alumnus. He was a member of the Airline Ambassadors International and Wheel Chair for the World Foundation health care teams. In his off time, he enjoys spending time with his two beautiful children and is dedicated to coaching their baseball and soccer teams.

Dr. Ronald Desmarais, DC, DACNB

Dr. Ronald R. Desmarais attended the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. In 1989, he graduated Cum Laude from Life-West Chiropractic College in Hayward, California. Dr. Desmarais continued his post doctorate work in neurology under the teaching of Dr. Fredrick Carrick. Dr. Carrick is known internationally for his treatment of traumatic brain injuries, sports concussions and movement disorders. After completing the three-year course, Dr. Desmarais became board certified through the American Chiropractic Neurology Board in 1994. He continues his studies in Functional Neurology through the Carrick Institute in order to provide his patients with the most advanced and comprehensive care possible.
Dr. Desmarais currently practices at Desmarais Chiropractic, Inc. in South San Francisco, California. He specializes in treatment of neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. He works with all age groups, children to seniors, in an effort to optimize their health and maximize their potential. He is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.

Dr. Kevin Elko

Dr. Elko is a speaker and recognized motivational expert. He obtained doctorate and master’s degrees from West Virginia University and an undergraduate degree from California University of Pennsylvania. He was inducted to both universities’ halls of fame. Dr. Elko has worked as a consultant for several professional football teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints. He has also consulted for numerous college football programs, such as University of Alabama L.S.U., The University of Miami and University of Nebraska. He is the author of four who has published books one of which, The Pep Talk, is in the process of becoming a motion picture. Dr. Elko is a frequent guest on the ESPN TV show NFL 32.
Dr. Daniel Emina M.D.

Dr. Daniel Emina is a child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist who earned his medical degree from the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine, and completed his general residency in psychiatry and child/adolescent fellowship at the University of Hawaii Department of Psychiatry.
His training was modeled on a bio/psych/social/spiritual/cultural understanding of an individual and featured a diverse patient population.He sees each client in the context of their families, schools/job, and community. He enjoys working with children and adults, and is well-versed in individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy. He uses dynamic as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, family psychotherapy and works to integrate pharmacotherapy, pharmacogenomics, and alternative therapies to optimize brain health and function. He is experienced in anxiety and mood disorders, addiction, ADD/ADHD, impulsive/disruptive behavior disorders, autism spectrum, psychotic disorders, OCD, PTSD, and traumatic brain injury. He has particular interests in the integration of technology, religion, culture, and medicine. He strongly believes that all care starts with a compassionate and empathetic ear, and works to empower each client in their own care.

Dr. Kathleen Mojas, PhD

Dr. Kathleen Mojas is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience working with relationship issues, trauma, depression, anxiety and addictive or compulsive behaviors in her Beverly Hills practice. Dr. Mojas received her B.A from UCLA and her Ph.D. in Psychology from the California Graduate Institute. She is trained in several cutting edge trauma processing techniques, such as EMDR, EFT and Somatic Experiencing.
After years of experience helping clients process negative experiences, beliefs and issues with EMDR, she had had the opportunity to train in London, England with Master EFT practitioners. Integrating this effective therapy into her work deepened and accelerated healing for her clients.
She is committed to keeping up with the current brain science and getting trained in the most effective therapeutic interventions. She is skilled in the mind/body therapy, Somatic Experiencing and was recently certified in Rapid Resolution Therapy. Dr. Mojas has presented workshops on these subjects and appeared on numerous national talk and news shows.
In addition, She has contributed articles and quotes to over 25 publications ranging from Parenting Magazine, the Los Angeles Times and the Journal of couples Therapy.

Dr. Scott Sherr, MD

Dr. Sherr is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with additional certification in Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA with a BA in History and BS in Psychobiology. He then attended University of Maryland Medical School and Residency Program where he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the former with Alpha Omega Alpha Distinction.
Dr. Sherr is a member of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society as well as the Society of Hospitalist Medicine. He practices as an Integrative Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) physician in San Francisco Bay Area (integrativeHBOT.com) and has a special interest in the use of HBOT for traumatic brain injury. He has lectured on this topic both locally and nationally. Dr. Sherr is also one of the few medical doctors in the country using an integrative approach to hyperbaric care (with targeted lab work, diet, and supplementation) to further advance HBOT’s ability to heal wounds. Dr. Sherr is also a practicing Hospitalist at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California and performs service connection (disability) exams for our Veterans.
