Annmarie Piette

After leaving her decade-long job as head of the payroll department at OakCare Medical Group to fully recover from her own TBI, Annmarie developed a keen interest in helping others recover from their struggles with TBI.  Refusing to accept “nothing can be done, this is just your new normal”, she found OneHitAway Foundation as part of a search for some real answers.  She’s since been on a mission to disprove the deceptive myth that nothing can be done.  And has since made a full recovery. At OneHitAway, Annmarie’s been able to draw on her background in numbers  in addition to her personal journey with a brain injury.  She’s also been able to put her skills in filmmaking to work with OneHitAway Foundation’s fundraising videos.  It’s been an amazing opportunity for non-stop learning, and an honor to be part of a Foundation that has a powerful, positive and lasting impact on people’s lives.
