The OneHitAway Youth Sports Outreach Program (YSOP) provides FREE community-based educational events for youth, educators, families, and athletic staff for learning about and addressing available brain healing and brain health resources for sports related concussions. If you represent a school, sports club or other athletic organizations for youth, the OneHitAway YSOP is here for you and your treasure of young participants. Since these valuable and developing brains love sports, let’s together make sure they are equipped with the “Chin Up” concussion facts about care and healing.
Sports related concussions are a serious health threat impacting today’s active youth.

Today’s young athletes and their supporting network need to be better acquainted with the dynamics of their young brains and the common symptoms associated with concussions and sub-concussive injuries. For example, just having multiple sub-concussive hits (never felt or consciously realized) over time can create havoc on a young athlete’s brain. If not treated properly, a concussion or sub-concussion may have lasting physical, emotional and cognitive effects. Through the Four Pillars protocol of OneHitAway, the YSOP will provide the proper “Chin Up” information, which aims to empower youth sports organizations, sports clubs and families.
