George Becker was a two-sport athlete. Deep down he was cowboy, who started his rodeo career when he was in in 6th grade. High School Rodeo was a huge part of his life competing as a Steer Wrestler. George had an unfair advantage on the football field for Gridley High School Bulldogs, due to his size and the fact he had been wrestling steers for years. Hard work on the football field and in the classroom earned him a full ride scholarship to Eastern Washington University to play football for the Eagles. In the few years on earth George lived a full and eventful life. He was a blessing to all that knew him.
